Third International MeetingThe Third International Conference devoted to high-throughput process development (HTPD) was held Oct 6 - 9, 2014 in Siena in beautiful Tuscany of Italy. HTPD 2014 was sponsored by GE Healthcare Life Sciences, with the active involvement of industry experts. The meeting provides a forum for discussion and exchange of ideas surrounding the challenges and benefits of employing high-throughput techniques in the development of processes and stable formulations for the manufacture of biological products. HTPD meetings offer an excellent opportunity to influence the future of high-throughput process development methods in our industry.HTPD OlympiadA competition where delegates were encouraged to submit their own devised automatic procedure with the intention to obtain a higher throughput and to avoid bottle necks in the production of a biopharmaceutical substance. |
